These terms govern your use of HRHelm, the HR, payroll and attendance service operated by Tech Lab India at hrhelm.com. By registering a company or using the service, you agree to them on behalf of that company.
1. The service
HRHelm is software as a service. Each customer company gets its own workspace at its own address (for example yourcompany.hrhelm.com) and the modules included in its plan.
We may improve or change features over time. We won't remove a module from a plan you have already paid for during that billing period.
2. Accounts
The person who registers a company confirms they are authorised to act for it. You are responsible for the people you give access to, for the roles you assign them, and for keeping passwords safe.
Registrations are reviewed before a workspace is created, and we may decline a registration.
3. Fees and billing
Plans are priced per employee per month, with a minimum number of employees billed per plan, as shown on our pricing page when you subscribe. Prices exclude GST, which is added to every invoice.
Subscriptions are paid in advance, monthly or yearly. Renewal invoices are issued shortly before the current period ends. If a renewal isn't paid within the grace period shown on the invoice, the workspace is paused until payment is received; your data is kept.
We'll give at least 30 days' notice by email before changing the price of your plan, and the new price applies from your next billing period.
4. Your data
You own the data you put into HRHelm. We process it only to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your records to Excel at any time.
You are responsible for having a lawful basis to store your employees' personal data in HRHelm and for the accuracy of what you enter, including salary and statutory details.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use the service for anything unlawful, try to access another company's workspace, interfere with the service's security or performance, or resell it without our written agreement.
6. Payroll and compliance outputs
HRHelm calculates salaries, statutory deductions and returns from the data and settings you provide. Please review payroll before finalising it and before filing returns. We work hard to keep statutory rules current, but you remain responsible for your filings and payments to authorities.
7. Availability and support
We aim to keep the service available at all times, apart from planned maintenance, which we try to schedule outside Indian business hours. Support is available by email at support@hrhelm.com.
8. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time; the workspace stays available until the end of the period you have paid for. After that, we keep your data for 30 days so you can export it, then delete it. Refunds are covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
We may suspend or close a workspace that breaches these terms, after notice where reasonable.
9. Liability
The service is provided with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts where Tech Lab India has its registered office.
11. Changes and contact
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email account owners at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Questions: support@hrhelm.com.
